Hello Medicine Hat, I am back from the holidays. I had a very Merry Christmas and so far it has been an incredible new year. Business in this city is booming and I am really excited to get some projects going. I have a new client for a new program I have created for motivated individuals building businesses online. This particular client has big ideas for people about health and making money online. We sat down to talk about how we could work with each other.
Meet Troy Teierle, Entrepreneur. Local businessman who wants to tell the world about his online marketing investment. I have a lot of respect for Troy for a few different reasons. Troy is an oilfield worker, so I know that he knows what hard work and ethic is all about. We are all suffering out here in the west and I don’t even want to talk about what’s going on. I have attented a Yellow Vest Rally, and the movement is growing. The bright side is there are people here like Troy, that don’t know how to give up and want to find a way to stay busy.
“I hate not working, it absolutely drives me crazy” Troy tells me when I ask him why he wants to get into online marketing.
I believe him too. We are not lazy people here in Alberta, I will repeat that about work ethic. We will roll up our sleeves and do what has to be done. I have a lot of respect for the oilpatch, the energy sector for a few different reasons. There is a lot of sacrifice from these people. They leave their family, put themselves in physical danger every day. They work hard and they play hard.

I have spent close to the last 15 years learning the world of affiliate marketing and building websites. Being on the internet. Online Marketing. The laptop lifestyle…if you will. Did you know that “how to make money online” is one of the most searched term on the internet every day. That along with questions about love (sex) and our health.
Everybody, especially these days, wants to know how to make money online. What the secret is and what the trick is.
The answer is really simple and it is absolutely no different then anything else in life. If you work hard and accomplish your goals to build your dream, whatever it might be, you will succeed.
What does this mean for affiliate marketing, making money online? A lot of different things, a lot of data entry or writing articles just like what I am doing.
Preparing content, giving your audience a reason to follow you, listen to. Build enough trust and somewhere along the way they might even by somethind from you. The challenge here sometimes is whether or not you are talking about a brick and mortar store, or, as Troy wants to sell you, a method that works online so your customers can buy it sitting at home in their underwear.
As funny or strange as that might sound, that is exactly the way the world is starting to work. You can indeed buy absolutely anything you want online. Even with my own example of a brick and mortar business, some still have inventory posted online and they can sell and ship 24 hours a day. Thank you Amazon.
Now getting back to that really simple answer and the key to making money online. Doing the work and why I decided I wanted to work with Troy and help him promote his website and his online marketing business because I believe him.
Truth is I berated him a little bit when we met to talk. I tried to talk him out of what he was doing. I told him that I didn’t believe him and that in 6 months he would probably be onto something else.
That’s a little bit of my own story. I don’t regret any of it and I am actually grateful for every experience in my life but that doesn’t mean we don’t stumble around a little bit figuring out where our passions truly lie.
That didn’t stop Troy though. He defended himself here and there as we debated. To my surprise when I suggested he pay because I believed I could help him, he agreed. I obviously couldn’t tell Troy he doesn’t believe in it if he is willingly to make another investment to build on it, to learn how to get bigger.
The reason I really want to tell you about Troy, I get to promote my training program, yes no denying that is advantageous for me and other Entrepreneurs. But, it is bigger then that.
Troy and I believe in the same thing. We both know that there is no magic secret to making money online. There are different things you can learn, different places to learn those things. At the end of the day, it’s data entry and creative thinking, turning planning into process and process into execution.
If you don’t believe in it, and what you are doing and WHY, you won’t get it done.
Back to Troy, I believe him when he says WHY. I believe that Troy really does want to. The product behind his online marketing program is something be believes help people, including him and his family personnally.
That’s what it’s all about. Online marketing, affiliate marketing, either case you represent a product. How you get the customer to the product is another entirely different case.
Welcome to often crazy confusing world of online marketing for those of us getting into this paradigm for society and the way we spend our money.
Troy wants to tell you all about himself. He wants you to know that he found the way to make money online by promoting and selling this process, of selling the idea, of selling a product through direct online marketing.
His product will help you feel better. It has proven health benefits. The interesting thing about listening to Troy is that no matter what you tell him about his program, he won’t back down. The truth of the matter is that most of us buy into these program with all the greatest of intentions.
The road to hell is paved with those golden intentions, and I can be one to talk. But that is exactly what brings me here to do this point. I have tried many different things and spent a great deal of money with all those different experiences. At the end of the day, it really isn’t about money. It helps of course however money is one ONE by product of success.
To me success is found in being happy, in doing what you love. Money is only one of many by products. There are many different defiinitions of wealth.
Troy has entered the online marketing world for the same reasons, he says, that I did. To help people. That is what it always comes down to for me, in business or not.
I believe it was Zig Ziglar who once said, ” If you are not truly helping somebody when you are selling them something, then you are manipulating them!”
I have always taken this to heart, and I believe Troy feels the same way. So even though he joins the seemingly endless crowd joining the work at home on line lifestyle, I think you will hear more from him.
